Personality

Rhy'nara is a generally kind and open-minded young woman, though she does have a quiet sense of paranoia and pessimism that wars for dominance. Despite that undercurrent of caution, she cares deeply about a great many things—particularly the condition of those around her. Because of this, Rhyn will often be caught asking after, and tending to, the needs and feelings of others... usually far ahead of her own.Rhy'nara tends to feel emotions—anger, joy, sorrow, and pain—on a scale of power that is foreign to most other people. Though her ability to weather this burden has gotten better with time and experience, she still bears the curse of a terrible poker face... Thus, particularly observant eyes might be able to pick up on moments when those ambient emotions are starting to overcome her. While her kindness doesn't tend to waver, close friends or comrades will also know Rhy'nara to be clever, sarcastic, and sharp of wit; always happy to dole out the same jokes she's dealt.But take heed—softhearted or no, she's got a surprisingly low tolerance for the presumed or perceived mistreatment of others. And she'll be out of her seat and in someone's face posthaste, if she ends up with a bad taste in her mouth over a particular situation in the vicinity...

Mannerisms

Behind the Curtain

Hey there! Thanks so much for taking a look at Rhyn's Carrd! I'm always looking for new contacts to write with, and while long-term is definitely preferred, I'm absolutely open to short-term interactions or one-offs as well! :) My schedule's a bit of a wildcard, but I'm in the US Eastern Time Zone (EST)! I have Discord available upon request, so please ask if you'd like to set up future RP!I try to be a very flexible writer, and like to mirror whoever my partner is. In other words—the more you give me, the more I tend to give you in return! That said, I do have a very clear tendency toward long-form narrative posts. I come from a background of multi-paragraph posting on forums/messenger platforms, and I greatly enjoy describing my scenes and/or characters for others. If I happen to be overwhelming you at any point, though, please do let me know. If we aren't BOTH having fun, then what's the point, right?I consider myself very lore-aware and generally lore-adherent, but I am not at all afraid to bend it for the sake of fun or good writing. Have an idea that you'd like to play around with? Toss it my way, and maybe we can brainstorm! I love helping with that sort of thing!NOTE: While I do not engage in combat RP often, you should know ahead of time that I do not tend toward dice rolls for most decisions. I trust my ability to be reasonable with sustained/applied damage, and I expect the same from my writing partners.
